Your child does stand at a high risk of getting Psoriasis if only it is in your family. If Psoriasis is not in your family then chances are your child will not get it.

If both you and your partner have Psoriasis in your family the child has a higher chance of at least 50 percent of getting it. If one parent only has Psoriasis then it lowers the chance down to 30 percent. Even if you have more than one child all of your children still stand at a risk for getting this if it is in your family.

If you know that your child could get Psoriasis make sure that they get sunlight even from a young age and talk with them about it when they get older so they will know what to look out for and guide them on what the risk factors are for getting Psoriasis.
