Psoriasis is a common skin disorder which has affected around million people world over. It is an aggravating chronic disease which persists for years and centuries in a family. The most excruciating aspect of this disorder is its tendency to pass on to the offspring from the parents. It is not as simple as the inheritance of a hair color to the child, as the pass on of this disorder involves numerous genes. The symptoms of the inherited psoriasis are observed right at the onset of the childhood, especially at times when the child is suffering from a virus based infection. This infested virus attacks the small spots of psoriasis which activates this disease.

Psoriasis is a hyper active disorder as its flare ups get triggered by minor changes like climatic changes, attack of infections, intake of excess of alcohol and the side effect of any drug. This disorder takes its worse toll on the person’s health if he is already suffering from an immune system disorder. In such people, the red patch areas become extremely itchy and are accompanied by a burning sensation. The patches spread to the visible areas of the body like elbows, scalp, knees, palms or soles. In worse cases, the puss filled blisters start forming on the sensitive areas like groin, inner walls of the vagina, breasts etc.
