Erythrodrmic psoriasis is one of the emergency skin conditions; it is a very rare yet very much serious condition. It is featured by inflammation in the skin, redness in the skin and psoriases. In many cases hospitalization may also have to be done. It is one the life threatening disease especially for old age peoples.

Symptoms 
Erythrodermic psoriasis is one of the most provocative types of psoriasis.  Majority of the skin face continuously scales and becomes red and hot and also goes on shielding. Scaling is usually accompanied by itching, severe pain and possibly swelling.

Complications
The complications related to Erythrodermic psoriasis are quite similar to that of pustular psoriasis. In this type of conditions body losses its capacity to regulate the body temperature. This inefficiency of the body to regulate its temperature is due to affection of the large part of the skin with psoriasis. Due to that patient losses body heat, protein and fluid and in some cases hospitalization requires.

In case if gets serious then Zumbusch psoriasis may also happen. In this condition weight loss, muscle weakness, fever or chemical imbalance may also happen. This erythrodermic psoriasis mainly affects the old age persons as compared to the younger ones. It has got the potential to take life also. But it can be cured if proper treatment is done.
