Inverse psoriasis can also be termed as hidden psoriasis. This skin disorder has the skin rashes which are similar to Psoriasis. However, rather than appearing on the entire body, this kind of Psoriasis appear on hidden parts of the body like armpit, groin, parts under the breast, around genitals, under the buttocks etc. In some people, it may also appear around the belly and waistline. Inverse Psoriasis can cause unbearable itching and pain in those hidden areas. And that’s why this is an embarrassing condition because itching in the hidden parts create lot of embarrassment and discomfort. And perspiration and friction make the condition even worse. According to the experts when there is severe itching, redness and irritation in the genital areas then it is diagnosed as inverse psoriasis even though the patient has never had a history of psoriasis. The other parts of the body might be mildly or not affected at all, but still, it is inverse Psoriasis.

Inverse psoriasis is mainly common among people who are overweight. Treating inverse Psoriasis is a challenging condition because the parts affected are hidden and are the most sensitive areas of the body. The condition is more challenging when the body parts concerned are genitals.
