WHAT IS PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS? |
Psoriatic arthritis or Psoriatic arthropathy is one of the inflammatory arthritis. According to the medical associations it affects around 5 to 25% of humans affected from the persistent skin disease psoriasis. This type of diseases mainly occurs mainly in the patients having tissue type HLA B27. The diagnosis of this disease is quite similar to that of the rheumatoid arthritis. About 80% of the peoples with psoriatic arthritis have psoriatic nail cut characterized by pitting of nail, or sometimes the loss of nails may also happen. It may also cause lot of pain to the patient. The exact cause of it is still yet not found out but it is said it is the disease caused due to genetic problem.
