Pustular psoriasis is one of the uncommon appearances of psoriasis. People having pustular psoriasis, have bumps on their skin which are packed with pus. The affected potion turns to red. There also may be a large portion to get reddened. The skin color may change and you can notice it during, before, or after the episode of a pustular psoriasis. Patients having Pustular Psoriasis may have patches of the raised skin.
On the basis of symptoms pustular psoriasis can be divided into several groups. If the symptoms are noted to be sudden and stern then is called acute, if the symptoms are of long term then its chronic and if the symptoms are somewhere in between the sudden and long term then it is said to be sub acute. In general pustular psoriasis affects the whole body rather than just skin symptoms. Fever may also be a symptom of this disease. Mainly pustules are contained to the soles and palms.
Pustular psoriasis is very uncommon. In adults, males and females are equally affected. In case of children it more affects the boys as compared to the girls. Majority of the people gets affected by this at an average age of 50 to 55. Children of age 2 to 10 may also get affected by this but it is a rare case.
