Inverse psoriasis is the skin disorder in which the hidden parts of the body are affected by redness, itching and irritation. Normally, like Psoriasis, the red rashes on the skin are not scaled. Inverse psoriasis is characterized by red rash which is inflamed making the skin itchy, painful and irritating. Such red colored rashes are found mostly in the genital areas and/or other hidden parts of the body like under the buttock, under the breasts, near armpits etc. The patient might not be a Psoriasis patient but might have inverse Psoriasis. Most of the times, the genital area is affected. When you find inflammation, itching and redness around the genital area consult the doctor immediately because, it is a sign of inverse Psoriasis or genital Psoriasis.

Severe Joint Pain: Due to inflammation there might be irritation followed by chronic joint pain.

Sleeping Problems: Inverse Psoriasis may lead to sleeping problems because of consistent discomfort.

Infection: When inverse psoriasis is left untreated it may lead to severe infection.

Inverse psoriasis is mainly because of persistent sweat and friction. It is therefore more common among people who are overweight. It is better to consult the physician as soon as one small rash comes into your attention to avoid further complications and discomfort.
