Following are the symptoms of nail psoriasis:
- Yellowish red color of the nail that looks like blood. If you are experiencing this symptom, then it is clear indication that you have nail psoriasis.
- Due to loss of the cells from the nails, pits develop on the nail.
- Due to inflammation of the cells of the nails, the slant lines develop on the nails instead of straight one.
- Due to reaction of cells to psoriasis, white area gets developed on the nails.
- Loosening of the nails because the nails get dislodged from the skin starting from the tip of the nail to the bottom. The nail becomes infected.
- Due to nail psoriasis, the nail becomes weak because the structures underlying the nail are not healthy.
- Formation of tiny black lines starting from the tip moving to the cuticle. This is because of the bleeding of the tiny capillaries at the tip of the finger and from the skin under the nails.
- The bottom pale area of the nail becomes red because of the capillaries under the nail getting congested.
- With the change in the nail, development of finger arthritis.
