Can Toprol Increase Psoriasis?

Toprol is a prescription medicine which is effectively used for treating angina pains, high blood pressure and heart attacks / strokes. This medicine works by blocking the release of adrenoceptor responsible for causing severe disorders in the cardiovascular muscles. This medicine should be taken between the dosages of 25 mg to 100 mg, as per the prescription of the doctor. In order to achieve the best effects of the medicine, it should be taken as per the prescribed dosage and should not be missed even for a single day. There are a series of symptoms associated with the over-dosage or incorrect dosage of this medicine. Among the minor symptoms weakness of the body, dizziness, abnormal heartbeat, and shortness of breath and sometimes discoloration of fingernails are observed.

Worsening of Psoriasis is one among the several serious symptoms of Toprol. The patient experiencing the initial stage of Psoriasis undergoes an abrupt development of intense red patches all over the body. The patches may spread to the scalp of the patient which may result into hair loss and appearance of large dandruff flakes due to dryness. In serious cases, the formation of puss filled blisters take place on the surface of genitals of both men and women.
