Injections of corticosteroid are injected into the nail bed or matrix which will temporarily improve the conditions of the person affected by nail psoriasis. Along with ultraviolet treatment, an additional light sensitizing medications such as psoralen is used. You can also opt for cosmetic nail repair. This is basically carrying out surgery of the deformed nails. If the nails are long and thick then it can be filed down. If nails suffer discoloration or are cosmetically deformed then you can apply nail polish or use artificial nails. If the nails are pitted then it can be polished and buffed.
