When a person has psoriasis they can still live a normal and functional lifestyle. However, a person that is affected by this chronic life-long illness might have a lower self-esteem due to this disease. 

In the public’s eyes, psoriasis tends to be misunderstood, making it difficult for people during a social interaction. Sometimes during these misunderstanding it leads to an emotional encounter with the person that has psoriasis. This person might become anger, embarrassed, feel anxiety, or even depressed. 

A person can still perform their workload with this disease; it does not affect their body from being able to move. However, psoriasis tends to affect the person’s appearance the most while doing their job. Depending on the type of work that the person performs could have that affects. If the person deals with the public, then they might encounter those emotional that were mentioned above.
